Join North York Harvest at the annual Seedy Saturday (on a Sunday) on February 21 between 12:30pm and 6pm. The event will be held at the Artscape Wychwood Barns, Barn#2 (the Covered Street) and The Stop's Green Barn (601 Christie St. -view map-)

Coordinated by the Toronto Community Garden Network, Seedy Saturday (on a Sunday) is Toronto's most exciting eco-fair. The day is host to a seed exchange, and vendors selling heirloom seeds as well as gardening workshops and kids activities.

This year, the event features the "North American Native Plant Society" (NANPS). Gardeners will benefit from NANPS' expertise and large varieties of bio-regional native flowers. Native flowers are an integral part of any vegetable garden -- without native flowers, there would be no bees or insects to pollinate our vegetables or fruits.

North York Harvest will be on-site with an information table and an assortment of free, open-pollinated seeds.
