Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon

Registration is now open to run the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon 5km, half-marathon, or marathon to raise funds for North York Harvest!

This event is only competitive for those that want it to be.The 5K “fun-run” or walk is meant for all fitness levels!

Our 2011 goal is to engage 50 walkers/runners to raise $50,000 for our 60 food programs!

Team Members will receive a:

• Charitable discount on registration
• Free Performance Cap
• Free “wick-away” performance shirt ( $30 value) for running in the half or full marathon
• Raffle entry to win fabulous prizes for every $500 raised

Registration Instructions:

• Complete the registration form - please make sure that you select: North York Harvest Food Bank from the Scotiabank Group Charity Challenge drop-down menu
• When asked for the Scotiabank Group Charity Challenge PIN Code, please enter 11SGCC to receive the charity discount rate
• When finished click OK to be transferred to the Charity Challenge Fundraising system
• Follow the Join a Team link and type in or search for North York Harvest in the team menu bar

Congratulations! You are now ready to fundraise online!

• Personalize your fundraising page by following the Customize Personal Page link in the left hand menu
• You will receive a fundraising confirmation email with username and password so you can log in and check your progress and email potential new donors

Full/Half Marathon – 9 am start on University Avenue, north of Adelaide Street
5K – 12 noon start at Canadian National Exhibition grounds
